Camp Harlow

Before I say every thing I did lets just say CAMP HARLOW IS AWESOME!!!

Camp started on Sunday we went to the firepit as a cabin and we did a cabin bonding game. You look at someone and say "if you love me tell me with a smile." And then the other person say's "Man, I love you but I just can't smile" you have to say that with out smiling. I didn't crack until larry boy Josh started trying to get us to smile hew said "babe if you love me please smile" and I said " I love you but I..." he interupted and said say "babe". That is when I cracked, I smiled and then couldn't stop laughing.

Monday and Tuesday where just normal Camp Harlow days REALLY REALLY FUN!! We drove go karts , bumper boats , canoeing , went Swimming , did lots of carpet ball ( worlds best game).On Tuesday mourning we had seminars I went to Sol's seminar where he talked about being a man. On Tuesday Night we had a concert at the firepit there names where
"Sol & Caleb" Sol was our camp preacher he is so awesome I wish if he was my churches pasture he is AWESOME!!

On Wednesday we went tubing, behind a motor boat!! It was the best ever me and brody where first to go brody got the wake while i was going all over the place up over the wake and every thing holding on to dear oh so dear life. I wiped out 5 times and brody didn't wipe out. He just bragged and said " I've done this before!"
everyone wanted to see brody wipe out we figured that the tube I was on was easier to wipe out so we put brody on it with Roco brody wiped out one time than Roco heard brody say he was going to get him!!So Roco kicked Brody's tube and he flip of his tube. Every one was laughing at Brody "You've done this before!" That night there was a concert the guy's name was Paul his con concert wasn't very good especially since no free Album , not that I wanted one...

Thursday mourning we had another seminar I went to the one where we learn about dating and high school , the media and so on. It was called pink (girls) , blue (boys) and purple (guys and girls). It was way more meaningful than " sex ed" at school or anything (it wasn't really sex ed mainly dating type of stuff the real stuff us teens care about. Thursday night we went to the church again and we square danced with girls. sadly they older.-something sorta of subject- I took my sun glasses of and put in my pocket and since I have had it on my head most of the week. I forgot I took them of so I freaked out sorta and so. I looked all over for them and then I checked my pocket......... ITS IN MY POCKET!!!! I thought am an idiot and moved on. Any ways on the way back from the church I met a girl and her name is Raina. sat next to her because Chris had to have her hang with us so i talked to her and she wasn't Christian. The next day we committed and re-committed our lives to God and I saw her comite her life to god I smiled at her. i never got to talk to her.
Back to Thursday night we had an awesome cabin party Josh "Larryboy" bought pizza and mountain dew he also got a huge ice cream shop tub of sherbert I don't know where he got it though.

-random short storys about camp-
On our bathroom door we had a yeild sign so when you go in you flip the sign so it says YIELD. So after awhile we just started to say "I'm going to go yield". when ever I see a yield sign I going to laugh.....

On the go Karts me , Brody , and Chris where racing and Brody past me so I started to bump the corner of his kart off the road but I stop becuase I thought he mught crash in to me... Later he said that he could drift on that go kart and me and Chris laught at him.

ANTI-Brody set up, on carpet ball I have this anti-Brody set up that brody can't hit and it's really sad so yeah......

In the pool we dunk eachother and sadly Brody was the only one that took only one person to dunk him.

I found out that one of my cabin mates live close to where we live very close together so we are going to start hanging out.

so Camp Harlow is the best camp IN THE WORLD!!!!

Medford trip

About two weeks ago now Daddydad Had a Stroke. He was on his fly fishing trip in Montana. About five days ago he was flown in a private plane from Montana to Medford ,OR. On Thursday we went up to Medford to help out around the house. Amelia and Shalaya where there at Clay hill Farm. We all work cleaning the pool, weeding the garden ( which was mostly me weeding and Uncle Mike weeding and even after several loads of five gallon buckets I looked at the garden and I could hardly tell if we weeded there are that many weeds ) Cleaning the house , doing the dishes , and making the meals. Me , shalaya and Amelia all played Spite and Malice, ALOT. We didn't play Monopoly Like we usually play. Shalaya and Amelia went to a place called soda springs. I didn't go because Of Uncle Scott's room mate who is only 18.

On the last day we where up there Saturday. We left at 10 am and went to see Aunt Shanon , Uncle Russ , and Shalaya's new to them house in the woods. It was a great place but there is a lot of work for them to do. But the place had a great view of a lake. And I hope the cousin's can go camping at one of the campsite around there. Shalaya would also like to have a Thanks giving celebration there. But dad isn't to sure we will since daddydad might not be done with recovering from his Stroke.

Which brings us to when I went to go see daddydad in the hospital. I had heard plenty of things about what and how he was doing.But it definitely sounded worse than it really was. He wasn't doing very well with speech but he didn't seem as bad as I thought. Which made me very happy.

Bike Ride

On Friday me and my Dad went mountain biking. The trail was very over grown so it wasn't as fast and fun as it should have been but it still was preety fun!!!!

River camping

We just got back from a great camping trip on the river, just like last week. This time since the friends i wanted to with us could not go, we invited a neighbor that i didn't like very much because he acted sorta like Matthew. I already have one annoying brother I don't need a copy!! I started out emotionally and physically ready for it. We camped at the same place we camped at last week. We camped out under the stars no tent at all. The next day we went fishing, then came back to camp to pack up and leave. We found many Quarts (special type of rock) and other cool rocks. We stopped back in a little lagoon type of place with water maybe 8'' or so and we had a great water war evidential though every one was against me. The had super soakers and i had a plastic pitcher about one or two quarts full. Every one blast they did I gave the 3-5 blasts. There was a lot of "sea weeds" And we had a little "sea weed" battle with them. I put some up to my face like a beard or something. We keeped on exploring, and then we stopped at a Island that we camped at last year. It was deep sandy and we had our very own little place to shoot the rapids. After three times of doing that we thought maybe we should stay one more night here. So we called the neighbor kid's home and asked his mom if he could stay one more night because we had only planed for one night but we had enough food for one more night so we stayed. I hadn't been felling to good since the camping trip began, but I was ok but finely after helping to set up the tent ( because dad didn't want to get bite by mosquitoes any more ) i went to bed. And that is about right up to now. Still sick but o'well... It was fun will it lasted....

Portland day trip

We went up to Portland for my mom's post op appointment as well as going to omsi and see our relatives. It was fun but omsi's main exhibit on Albert Einstein wasn't very good becuase I already know most of what was shown there.
Something funny happened when we where leaving my cousin's house. One of my cousin's said bye while I was walking down the stairs at their place then he just closed the door I wasn't gone yet or anything. So bye then fine I didn't want to be there either.... Just kiding.....
It was fun!!

Idependence day AKA july 4th

Yesterday I did some of my own fireworks and watch neighbors fireworks. There were alot of illegal fireworks, bought in indian reservation.
-Here are some of the fire works I had...
--Wildfire (The first section starts out weak but the rest was really good)
--Tijuana Tremor (most of it isn't very good but it finishes really well)
--Happy Festival ( this one is ok that is all i can say about that)
--Flashtron ( this one is really good i think that if i where to grade it it would get an A+)
--Funzilla ( very stupid name but it has a nice long and good show)
--Jack in the box ( this one is in my top two favorites it would be better though if like when the spinner things that come out of it the firework shot out cracklers or something...)
-- Killer Bees ( this one It actually fell out of the bag and I ended up not lighting But from what I remember from last year it was a good one)

I was talking to one of my neighbors he told me this little story... " One day before Independence Day He was at work and he needed to go to the bathroom so he went out and around to the bathrooms and someone through a firework inside when he was inside. So later he went back close the men door and turned on the light. And then the walk up and started lighting his firework. But my neighbor throwed his lighted firework at the guy and the guy jumped up about a foot of the ground! He thought his firework had gone of!!"

Next year when some yells "happy 4th"!! Yell back "happy 5th"!! Because hardly anyone says happy Independence day! And usually if they do they say it slowly or mess up which is really funny and really, really sad! Happy Independence Day!!

River camping

On the 2 & 3 of july i went camping on the river. We set up our tent on a big sand bar & we had a big bond fire going it was fun.

Cross country

For the past three weeks I have been doing Cross country running. Monday, wensday & Thursday @ 8:00 - 9:00 I have been running 3-5 miles each time.

I am going camping today. With my dad , My brother and my dad's friend Duane.
